S2 E16: Armen Davoudian

The Hive was thrilled to host Frost Place Chapbook Contest Winner Armen Davoudian and hear poems from his forthcoming chapbook, Frost Place Chapbook contest winner Swan Song (Bull City Press). Farnaz Fatemi talked to Armen about translation as metaphor, James Merrill, listening to poems in foreign tongues, growing up Armenian in Isfahan, and how “the sonnet is perfectly engineered to talk about immigration.”  Missed it Sunday night on KSQD 90.7 Santa Cruz?
